Thanks for asking about our Privacy Policy. We take great measures to protect your data. Please read on so that we can explain what information we collect, why we capture it and how we protect the privacy of all data that passes through MakerHQ.

Who We are

MakerHQ is a nonprofit organization that exists to provide a collaborative community space focused on harnessing the technical, artistic, and scientific elements of our city through endeavours in education, research, and team projects.

We do take steps to protect the privacy of our members. Here are the current measures we have in place:

What Data Do We Collect?

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year..

The only piece of information we potentially collect during this process is an email address.

Who Has Access to Your Data?

We do not share any data.

How long we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

How we protect your data

Data used on the MakerHQ site is stored in a secured server and all data is deleted after the last tournament is complete.
